September 8-11 2024: Excellent. Upon our arrival the concierge greeted us with prosecco and snacks and guided us to our beautiful sea view room. I absolutely loved our balcony overlooking the picturesque church on the grounds with the ocean in the background. Upon finding out that it was an Anniversary trip for us, they sent a complimentary champagne bucket with glasses to our room to celebrate. The best part of this hotel besides the upscale yet laid back ambiance is definitely their private beach. We had lunch here the first day and felt extremely relaxed enjoying delicious grilled octopus and Greek salads by the sea. The breakfast service here was delicious and we loved the buffet plus a la carte breakfast options. We tried a Cappuccino Freddo here for the first time by recommendation of our waiter, Themis. This drink quickly became our favorite and was a breakfast staple throughout the rest of the trip. Themis catered to us throughout the three days in Mykonos Grand and want to point out that he went above and beyond for our every request. Despite popular opinion, Mykonos Grand made it effortless for us to book taxis and private cars around the island to ensure we arrived at our reservations on time. Most cabs / private cars into town and beach clubs took about 15-20 minutes each way. The hotel is in a great central location. During the day, we enjoyed exploring the famous windmills and shops in Little Venice. We dined at Kastros for lunch where we were lucky enough to sit at one of the outdoor balconies overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the nightlife Mykonos has to offer including the sunset ritual party at Scorpios, 180 Bar and Zuma for dinner and lounge experience. Despite the appeal of these larger establishments and their views, the most exciting experience we had was dancing to Abba music throughout the Little Venice bars. After busy days, we looked forward to returning the to the quiet and serene Mykonos Grand each evening. Safe to say, we fell in love...

Read moreThey truly take care of you here and make you feel like their top priority at all times - and best of all, it always feels genuine. The highlights of the amenities/grounds: the salt water pool is scenic and refreshing, plenty of seating available, and a private beach is below (as long as you’re okay walking down a not insignificant number of steps). The rooms are gorgeous, high-quality, and most have breathtaking views of the Aegean. The (free) morning breakfast is full of tasty items and the wait staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Little Agiris was our favorite waiter, he did a fantastic job!
Their concierge services are second-to-none, especially for honeymooners. Nasia was a standout and helped us pick plenty of great places to eat, coordinate ATV rentals, a catamaran cruise, and much more. She and the rest of the staff were always very proactive and in constant - but unobtrusive - communication with us about our stay and our plans so that we didn’t miss out on anything.
While you could easily spend all day on the resort grounds, it is conveniently located next door to a public bus stop that runs hourly, and then the hotel offers its own shuttle hourly starting in the evening. We never had to call a cab once.
The only real downsides, none of which are a big enough deal to bring this down from 5 stars: if you want to stay within walking distance of Mykonos Town, this is probably not the place for you. The shuttles take 15-20 min tops to get there which worked out just fine for us, and you’re also only a 5 min shuttle from Ornos Beach, which has some fun dining and beach options. The in-resort restaurant is completely fine, but you probably won’t want to eat dinner there more than once - the island just has so much more to offer. And a super small note, but for the price you pay, complimentary sunscreen by the pool would be much appreciated! There aren’t any stores nearby so that can pose a challenge for basic...
