We are only pointing out a few issues we had as part of our stay so other travellers can make an informed decision. We chose this accommodation as (unlike many places in Mykonos Town) it stated pool access on their own website, this would apparently be with a minimum spend (which was not mentioned on the website), but they no longer have this access now anyway although it is still mentioned on the website, so be aware. When we raised this with the woman who we checked in with she was most unhelpful stating you can use the sea, when I explained I'd prefer a pool, being less crowded, she said what do you want me to do, I can't build one! Which I found most unhelpful and to be honest rather rude. Then the male owner, George, became involved and he was much more helpful. He sorted out the issue we had with the transfers (I had used their website contact form to try and arrange their transfer, but had heard nothing back so booked my own.) I would advise to call them or email them directly to arrange this as their contact form on their website had not worked. He also offered a few 'extras' to make up for the issues and when he found out we had booked a local taverna (bellisimo) for dinner, assisted with helping to get pool access here. The room was missing crockery, cutlery, coffee, water and dressing gowns which we highlighted on arrival as we had to eat lunch on our laps with our fingers and received only water, coffee and a missing cup when we chased this up (none of the other items) and this took several messages and aover 2 hours to sort so we left the rest, so wasn't really 'fully equipped" as stated. The toilet has a smoked glass door and no frame and is next to the bed which doesn't leave much to the imagination! There is also no obvious reception to check in at and we had to ask a cleaner and wander around to find where to do this. It is also not really on the beach',as the website states, it's a few minutes uphill walk from the beach. We chose this accommodation as it looked a bit special for a birthday, but we were rather disappointed to be honest, for the price. We just want people to be fully aware of everything so they can make an...

Read moreOwner George and his family are so welcoming and helpful and treated me like family.||I was apprehensive about travelling solo for the first time, but George ensured each day that I was ok, and helped if I needed anything. George picked me up from the airport and gave me a mini tour of the area and lots of interesting facts about the island.||The accommodation (side sea view suite) was perfect for what I needed, with a lovely view of the sea and a fabulous patio area. Well equipped and everything you need with a few additional extras which were very much appreciated. The suite was very clean and fresh towels delivered daily. Bed very comfy and extra pillows brought without asking when they noticed I like a lot of pillows.||Agios Ioannis is a really lovely quiet area, but within easy distance to Mykanos town. The bus stops outside of the property which is very handy. Nice walk to Kapari Beach.||Locally there are three beach restaurants with sunbeds, and a lovely taverna just down the road called Vasilikos, which isn't as flashy, serves lovely food and the staff are extremely friendly.||Little mini market also just down the road, which stocks cold drinks, ice creams, toiletries and snacks.||Agios Ioannis or Shirley Valentine beach is lovely, sunbeds available from the beach clubs or further down there's a small cove which is a great spot to put your towel down and go for a swim.||George made many great recommendations for things to do, places to see and restaurants to visit and helped with renting an ATV (which is a great way to see the islands natural beauty).||I had a wonderful stay and really valued the homely,...
