Heaven's Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We frequented this gorgeous little cafe several times during our stay on Naxos. It was right near our hotel which was so convenient if we missed our hotel breakfast.

The owners are originally from Belgium so if you're not visiting there during your European holiday you can be guaranteed you're getting the same waffles here as you would there ... they were amazing! So fresh, light and fluffy. In fact everything we ordered was delicious. The cafe owner Rit and her husband were so lovely. I was so sad we didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye before we left!

The cafe itself was beautifully decorated with pretty decor and paintings by Rit and her mother. So talented.

They also have a bit TV with various sports channels if you are hoping to catch a particular game!

My boyfriend and I ate here and we both did not feel well after eating the food. He ordered an omelette and I ordered a waffle. The waffle took forever to cook and when I ordered it I asked for no whipped cream. When I got my waffle about 5 minutes after my boyfriend got his omelette it was covered in whipped cream. When asked for a new waffle they didn't want to make another so I had to take the whipped cream off and hoped I didn't eat any. My boyfriend and I felt bad after leaving this place. It's not the fanciest place you'll see, but do not be fooled, you go there for breakfast and you'll have breakfast indeed. If you want sea view, candles, etc, Acropolis museum awaits for you, for the rest of us... We had more than a descent , original breakfast, particularly the yogurt with fruits was exceptional with a large variety of fruits and portion. Just imagine the gentleman who runs this place had the same breakfast with his family as we. Good place to start your day at Naxos! Greetings...
