Absolutely Wonderful Dining Experience at Lithos Naxos!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lithos Naxos near the castle, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was perfect. I indulged in the octopus and the risotto gemista, both of which were simply delicious. The octopus was cooked to perfection and full of flavor.The risotto gemista was an explosion of rich, creamy flavors, filled with fresh ingredients that brought a true taste of Greece to the plate.

I also had the opportunity to try all the appetizers, and every single one was divine. Each dish was crafted with such attention to detail and tasted just as amazing as it looked.

But what really elevated the evening was the wonderful service. From the moment we walked in, the girls greeted us with genuine smiles, and throughout the evening, they were attentive without being intrusive. Every request was handled promptly and with such care.They provided thoughtful recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves.Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff never seemed rushed or flustered. The service was impeccable friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Situated near the castle, it offers a charming, authentic Greek atmosphere that perfectly complements the food.

I’m baffled by some of the 4 star and particularly 3 star and below reviews on here (with the exception of those who said they didn’t receive their drinks, their table wasn’t ready etc). This is without doubt a 5 star restaurant. The tiny gorgeous restaurant is set in an alley (but it’s cute I assure you!) with the prettiest plants and lights. The inside is beautifully designed too. Adorable. We were served this evening by Lina and Irini who were both lovely and attentive. The food was outstanding and the best we have had during our Greek island hop in the Cyclades so far and one of the best meals we have had as a couple. The price of the food is very fairly priced (it’s not cheap, but we are not cheap people looking for cheap food), it’s FAIR, especially when compared to some of the dire establishments just trying to rip off tourists with high prices and low quality food. If you’re looking for quantity of food this isn’t it, it’s quality over quantity, but both my partner and I like to eat (especially my partner who is very active and eats everything in sight) and both left happy. Absolutely by far the best restaurant on Naxos island!

The food is amazing, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Everything was so tender and honestly cooked to perfection. The food was so amazing we had to come back for a second night during our 5 day stay on the island. We enjoyed the lamb and gnocchi and caramelized pork with potatoes as our main dishes both nights we went because they were so good!

The staff is so delightful and friendly, and if you sit outside you will most definitely get your fix of cat-friends to come visit you, don't worry they won't bother you or jump on the tables or anything- very well behaved neighborhood cats just like the rest of Greece!

I recommend making reservations as this is a very good and popular spot, especially if you would like to dine outside. If you do not make reservations, go early (anytime before 8:30pm) and you will most likely be accommodated with a table as most reservations are for a bit later (at least in our...
