Souvlaki of Makis — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We ordered some gyros and and burger from here as these were the only options here. The food took a good 25 minutes to come. People around me came after us ordered and left. Not a single time did they come and tell us they the food will take time. Then after food was kept they never checked on us and we then waited for 10-15 minutes for us to pay for the bill. When charging we asked to pay in euros and the lady charged us in dollars. When asked to fix she went and brought us an interpreter explaining tjat it was not their fault. Coupled with terrible service and mediocre food and the billing problems never again will I suggest anyone to visit them. Made our evening in the beautiful town of Naxos terrible due to bad customer service. Too bad as I was looking forward to eat here from several days.

After reading my review, rather than a simple apology, the host decided to make fun of us. It is really sorry to see that the host only takes care of Greek people and make fun of genuine tourists. Sorry to see that.. I hope your business does well and understands people have...

I loved this place. First off, the people are really cool. They helped me work my way through some of the choices, and there are a lot of choices! So far my two favorites are the Pita Souvlaki Pork Brizolokalamo. Not sure what it means but it is delicious! The Pita Gyro Pork and Chicken (mix) is really good too. The Mythos beer was nice and cold. All in all it is really a bargain. And there are a ton of things on the menu that I haven't gotten to yet that look good. On my last visit I tried the pork roulade, which is a pork flank and peppers and cheese all rolled up and roasted, then sliced into individual servings. Really good! They have the original seating area near the souvlaki/gyro spits and the outdoor seating plus they now have a new seating area right next door. It is brand new and looks kind of like a chalet with pine ceiling and a nicely toasty woodburning stove for the cooler months. Definitely...

This is a family run gyros restaurant, and they do not disappoint. Incredibly delicious food at very reasonable prices. We ate here 3 times on vacation, twice as a sit down meal and once as a to go order. The to go was super fast, and the sit down was also quite prompt without feeling rushed. The daughters took our orders and delivered food to our tables including giving us a rundown of favorites on the menu. Boy these parents have done a great job raising kids who are contributing and who do it respectfully and with speed. The whole family is hustling here, and the food... man we have had gyros almost daily for a week across Greece... they have the best gyros we have had yet.
