Óstrako — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Shocked and appalled. Disgusting owner. Threatening, drunken, touching his you-know-what! Knocking the furniture around, shouting at his (wife? Waitress?) Seemingly angry at everyone in the area, including us, their only patron that evening. Service ended midway through our meal at 7pm as the owner became irate and dangerous, shouting at us in Greek, shaking his fists in our faces. After being unable to explain to the other member of staff present that we'd like to pay and leave, we then had to approach this clown for the bill. The best was yet to come, as he charged us more than double the price on the menu, and when we tried to explain this was incorrect he began grabbing our money, taking a 50 euro bill out of my hands. I then took it back quickly, and everything became chaos. The locals had to intervene before he was able to hurt us, he came behind us and grabbed me by the shirt, his fists were raised ready for a punch before the locals were able to get between us and him. We ordered a kids-menu burger which the menu said that it should come with fries. Instead they brought us a big sandwich (not a burger) with no fries. When we asked the owner (who also prepared it) why there are no fries, he said that he did not have any small (kids) burgers left so without asking us, he prepared a big burger instead so there should be no fries. We insisted on the fries, which were given to us, while the owner was clearly annoyed. When we took a closer look at the “burger”it was a big sandwich bread with something that looked like a luncheon meat or a swan can inside which looked disgusting. It also had mayo, which makes no sense in a kids menu, but this was the least of our concerns, compared to the disgusting slime goo that they call a burger. I have never seen anything like that it looked disgusting, unappetizing and it was inedible. It goes without saying, that the kid did not eat it (although he ate the fries). The sun-beds are reasonably priced and the beach is nice but stay away from any food...

Only 3 tables (including us) was waiting for food, however we were still waiting around 1 hour for few simple pastas, 1 pizza and 1 stifado. Waitress was obviously not happy with working there and wasn’t really helpful with anything. Only fine food was stifado, but waitress didn’t find helpful to inform us about providing bread with food and recommended us to buy chips with it(why when you should eat it with local bread which they provided) . Other food was kinda horrible. Dry pasta, tasteless pizza. On the top of everything they wanted to scam us and let us pay for one more portion which we didn’t have. When we informed them about it owner started screaming like total moron....
