Arillas bakery — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

When you find yourself in the north west corner of Corfu, and visit the village of Arillas, make a special effort to stop for Coffee and a Pastry at the Arillas Bakery.

Maria and Nikos are just wonderful, and made every morning, when I strolled down to the bakery exactly what I needed.

Sit and enjoy a morning coffee with an Apple Danish (Apple Pie) as I did for every day of our holiday, and fell ready to make the most of your time on the Island of Corfu.

There are savoury pastries alongside the sweet, and for sure the Cheese and Ham Pie, (there are plenty more) makes for a delicious lunchtime snack, always assuming it makes it to lunchtime...

Maria went to great lengths when I suggested I needed an egg free (imagine) cake for my wife's birthday, and the result was a resounding success.

Friendliest shop owners in Arillas and the most delicious pastries and coffee! We went for a Freddo Espresso (Iced Coffee) and pastry every morning. You can’t go wrong with any of their food, but we particularly liked the traditional cheese pie and fruit tart.

We also never denied ourselves one of the small vanilla ice cream pastries from the freezer.

If you are spending your holiday in Arilas, Greece, the best way to start your day is with breakfast at this bakery.
