One of the very few fine-sanded beaches on the island of Corfu. A pier is deviding the beach in 2 halves which are very different. They are both fine sanded. When facing the sea at the pier you can easily see that there is a river along the right half of the beach. Well it is not a river. The highest part of the shore gets easily overflowed by waves and water becomes trapped at the lowest part of the beach. Kids love that place. After that "river" you can find some clay rocks. There is a sunbed area (10 eur for a set plus umbrella and a big bottle of water "from the house") but also enough space for placing your towel directly on the sand. Need I mention again this is not a crowded beach, nor a noisy one?
For lunch you can choose from the few tavernas and restaurants right across the road. Parking is also rather easy to find. It surely worth a visit but is...
