Illusions Kitchen Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

As you all know I’ve been visiting Kassiopi for three years….it’s a place very close to my heart, it’s the place recipes from my travels all started. I’ve made some beautiful friends here.

I’m always going to be biased but illusions kitchen bar which is run by two lovely sisters, Christianna and Nikolina is my all time favourite eating place. Only opened in May 2022 it belongs to the same family who own illusions bar, which incidentally is the first bar my sister and i Lorraine landed in, in the early part of 2019

Getting back to my lunch I had the Chicken club sandwich, slightly flavoured with curry, cheese that’s melted perfectly and I’m not going to lie, it’s the best club sandwich I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted them all over the world including New York and Las Vegas to name a few….

It’s been a difficult couple of years in the hospitality industry worldwide, and illusions kitchen bar opened on the back end of covid…. But with amazing food, an amazing setting and two beautiful sisters who could want anything more….

When it comes to Michelin stars….restaurants like this always get overlooked, but why….it’s restaurants like illusions kitchen bar who deserve a Michelin star for not only the food but it’s cleanliness, not only in the kitchen or bar itself but even on the harbour side tables.

Everything they do is meticulous.

It really is hard to believe that this restaurant has only been open since may this year (2022) and with the forward planning of Akis and his brothers Nikos and panayotis, along with Nikolina & Christianna I truly believe the illusions kitchen bar will be one of the best...

The Kitchen Bar in Kassiopi is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, with a perfect blend of modern and rustic charm. The food was absolutely divine; every dish was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The presentation was impeccable, and each bite was an explosion of flavors.

But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the service. Our waiter, Nikos, was outstanding. His attentiveness, warm smile, and genuine care for our dining experience were remarkable. He offered excellent recommendations, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the evening.
