SEA BREEZE — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Average food and average service. Visited throughout the day but enough little things to put us off attempting at night.

Update to our last visit 2 months ago. It's definitely either improved or my opinion has changed.

Update Got drawn back as the breakfast for 3 euro is excellent and very close to a traditional English breakfast as you can get.

Beds on the beach are up there with the best on the strip but what annoyed me last time there wasn't enough of this time. 2 months ago I came with my children and was constantly asked if I wanted a drink like I wasn't welcome on the beds unless the drinks were ordered regularly, even to the point of waking you up to ask. This time without kids they didn't come often enough, which leads me to think it was more me and my situation that led to the average score.

My one gripe keeping the star rating off 5 is the toilets. I know most places in Greece have below standard toilet facilities but keeping on top of smell and cleanliness is another thing. If I found out who keeps destroying the toilets in sidari without flushing I'd drown the dirty bast**d...

We chose this restaurant for dinner because the man outside was very friendly and persuasive but as some people have stated previously, service was extremely slow. Menu was given to us around 25 mins of being seated and food took over an hour to arrive. We had to wait 50 mins for the bill even after asking 3 times. We had to wait some more for them to bring the card machine over, only to be told that to remove the charge for the starter bread they forgot to bring to our table, we would have to go to the till and pay there. I think they mentioned it was Greek night so they had fun dance performance as well! Outdoor seating was right next to the beach so we got to catch a great view of the sunset. Food was pretty average and nothing to write home about. Overall, the slow service was a real shame since the atmosphere and location of the restaurant were great. Stayed at the Sea Breeze sunbeds for the whole day. We had breakfast which was very nice & decent value. Pancakes with eggs & bacon - lovely fluffy pancakes, and Greek breakfast. They have a great system for using the sunbeds, once you spend €15 per person you can use the sunbeds all day, instead of paying a fee (€8-10 depending on the place). Their system wasn't really advertised though so they should definitely put a sign saying that as it's an attractive offer imo. Service was very good across the day. We then had gyros pita for lunch.
