Greek Village — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

EXCELLENT!! PLEASE READ! This was our first dining experience on this beautiful island.

Food and drink- We ordered the hummus and pitta bread and calamari to start. The hummus was evidently fresh and certainly tased it, it came with fresh pitta bread and had beautiful garlic flavour throughout. My partner said the calamari was the best he had ever tased, fresh and flavorful.

For mains we ordered chicken gyros souvlaki and the halloumi salad. The chicken was moist and full of seasoning, the portion was plenty and the chips were fresh cut. The halloumi salad was a simple and delicious dish, flavoured with balsamic and olive oil it was tasty and refreshing.

For drinks we ordered various cocktails and the classic mythos, the cocktails we're very alcoholic and worth the money.

Atmosphere- we was sat right on the beach as the sunset, it was beautiful and picturesque.

Staff and service- the staff were polite and welcoming. They made the first anxious night more relaxed and enjoyable, they helped us settle in to the culture and customs easily. Very happy, laughing to each other at the bar clearly enjoing themselves which makes their service pleasent.

Overall we do not have a bad thing to say about the greek village, 10/10 would reccomed to anyone...

Horrendous behaviour from staff, AVOID THIS PLACE!

We decided to visit the beach for a day on a family holiday, bought some drinks from this restaurant and sat down on the sun beds reserved for customers.

At one point we went into the sea to cool off for what must have been 5 minutes, and once we came back we found that the staff had physically moved our belongings off the chairs onto the floor (including our clothes- which are now filthy) in order to seat another customer. I am appalled at this behaviour, it ruined a beautiful day in Corfu for myself and my family.

When we confronted the staff about what had happened, they actually laughed in our faces whilst refusing to explain why they put our belongings on the floor.

After that we decided not to eat there as we were originally planning to do. Save yourself the hassle and visit one of the other restaurants on the beach; they may actually treat their (paying) customers...

To miejsce to prawdziwy raj na ziemi, idealne na relaks i delektowanie się wyśmienitą kuchnią. Zacznijmy od jedzenia, bo to właśnie ono jest sercem tej restauracji. Menu jest pełne autentycznych greckich potraw, które są po prostu przepyszne. Od świeżych sałatek, przez aromatyczne souvlaki, po soczyste moussaki – każdy kęs to prawdziwa uczta dla podniebienia. Wszystko to tworzy przytulną i relaksującą atmosferę, idealną na romantyczną kolację czy spotkanie z przyjaciółmi. Na zewnątrz znajdują się stoliki z widokiem na plażę, otoczone pięknymi roślinami i delikatnym oświetleniem, które dodaje magii wieczornym posiłkom. Podsumowanie Ta grecka restauracja to prawdziwa perełka.
