Kikko Sushi & Fish — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

The food was OK. That is almost the whole story. My gf and I went all out and bought five dishes and only one of them was worth it. (New York sushi). The Calamri was a bit too oily and tasted strangely of flour? The spring rolls were LOADED with cinnamon for some reason? And even the alcohol-free drink was bland and tasted like alcohol.

Now to the service. The man with an earring is beyond charming! Love him! Funny and nice, but the same can’t be said for the owners who are staring daggers at me as I write this. The staff is also strange, taking out plates as we are eating, but the table next to us isn’t cleared out even though they arrived before us. It feels like we are being rushed and judged which is not what I want for my dinner. The waitress also seems to be trying to peek at my phone. We’re constantly monitored and even the owners were walking back and forth staring and inspecting us as if we had a bomb in our purse.

The music was also so loud that my girlfriend and I couldn’t hear each other, not even when speaking loudly.

Edit: We were given ice cream, which we found strange due to what was mentioned above. One bite of the ice cream and I was coughing my lungs out- and I swear the ice cream must have been old. Threw up in my mouth as well which was the perfect unpleasant ending to an...

Let's start in reverse & this is a personal opinion... A warm welcome from Management and Staff most friendly and helpful for the beginners to sushi... The ice cream desert was the best I ever had and I have had a lot of Ice cream specially in Italy... Greeks make better Ice cream... The noodles were very good would like finely chopped green chilli rather than fresh green onions the fried chicken not in bread crumbs Please... The tataki salad with salmon and mixed variety of lettuce and pepper sauce was excellent... The sushi Alaska roll was good but lacked a traditional sauce to enhance the salmon and rice along with the shredded ginger and the Tuna avo also needed something stronger than the mustard and mint paste... The traditional sushi sauces are to bring out the flavours of the raw taste... I will be back to Kikko Sushi and Fish... They do also...

we visited the kikko restaurant a few times, as couple and also with friends - great atmosphere, delicious japanese food & sushi - fantastic and very friendly, professional crew - the best japanese down south and by far better than many other japanese restaurants in athens - now during lockdown we use the kikko delivery - wonderful! always delicious and very warm and friendly service - big plus: not all this plastic and aluminium the use for delievery - which is a no go - kikko delivery cares about the enviroment to - what more do you want - delicious food, friendly and care for the enviroment -...
