TGI Fridays Μαρίνα Φλοίσβου — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

As the waiters told me firmly the management of this particular restaurant mostly cares to fill the tables and not necessarily to please the customers by simply taking the best care of them that is possible!!! Too many little or medium bad things happened several times with many different friends or family of mine!!

I'll give an example just because I don't want to sound severe... Once when we were told to wait for about 20-40 minutes for a free table, we ended up waiting for an hour and the answer was that they had sent us a sms, while no messages were received and stood next to the entrance. Of course, they did not show us the message they sent. At the time, 2 different groups appeared with the same problem. Then they put us on a table outside the glass that had excessive sunshine and while they were over umbrella to open, they were reminded that they were damaged ... Not to prolong , about two hours of waiting for a little attention and very unwise and disrespectful behavior from the at that time manager of the tables we found another table by ourselves, we said to move there and the minute we moved , two other ladies over 50 were seated on our previous table, suddenly the umbrella opened without any technical problems and after many complaints of many other tables/customers. We went there at 14:00 and we ate at 16:30... It was a funny and mad day!!! Couldn't believe it!

But we like it's position by the sea and generally the label namely TGI FRIDAYS!! But not great staff because of the management!! We were too pleased and satisfied by the other restaurants in Ampelokipi and Alexandras!! Great...

We came to dine and we were told that the wait time for outdoor dining is 25 minutes, but if we want to eat inside we can simply go inside and have a table. We registered for outside table, but after consideration we went and took one inside. Then all the confusion started when hostesses told us that we cannot sit at the table inside although there was a plethora of empty tables and it seems that they were utterly confused. After we called a manager who spoke English she apologized and brought us menu's. We oreldered cheese nachos that were cold , strawberry chicken salad that was very good and fajita combo that was a total disaster. Fajita plate is supposed to be sizzling upon be brought to the table and not only that it was just warm vegetables on fajita were almost raw instead grilled and tortilla was cold as well. Once I checked food line I noticed that food is sitting there an exuberant amount of time untill was taken to table. I believe that the number of staff cannot handle all of the traffic. Watching burgers sitting on the line fir 10 to 15 minutes gave me an answer why fajita was almost cold. Chicken on fajita was bone dry beside being cold. Overall only good thing with this establishment is that it is in very nice location and thats about it. Will definitely recommend to...

As always, a great restaurant and bar for both families and friends. Great quality food, served by what has to be the friendliest staff in Athens. Our server, Giorgos, was simply amazing and made us feel comfortable after a very long day at the office, and right after he had served us he joined his partners in a happy birthday song for one of the other customers. We chose a dish from the new menu, Parmesan-crusted grilled chicken chicken with aromatic potato mash and steamed vegetables, which was mouthwatering good. For those with food allergies, you can download the food allergies menu from their site; user-friendly signposting indicates what each dish contains so you can choose according to your needs (please note: it's one of the very few restaurants in Athens that offers truly gluten-free dishes). There is an outdoor sitting area facing the marina, which is very popular in the evenings and you may not get a table there so easily, but we chose to sit in the air-conditioned indoors because of the intense heat. You may wish to book a table if you're heart is set for the outdoors area. As in all the other restaurants of the popular chain, there are drink specials that change depending on the day you visit.
