Great choice before getting on the ferry got a bag full of delicious koulouri. The ham & cheese was fantastic. Excellent coffee also. The staff were as gracious and helpful as you would expect in Greece. Revisited 24/6/2021 Still a great place for Koulouri both savory and sweet also sandwiches made with Cream Cheese and ham or Turkey. Also fresh made juices, coffee, teas. Try the soft Sesame Koulouri makes a great sandwich. Store owner Dimitri is very charming and helpful. This is my go to place before Boarding a ferry to the islands. Just a block and a half away from the Pireas ferry terminals.

10/05/25 update I had the opportunity to return to Mon Kulur today. The owner Dimitri is still working hard and just as charming as ever. I enjoyed some sweet Koulouri today. I tried chocolate chip it was delicious with a koreki like dough very nice, not too sweet. And also a ham and cheese hand pie both delicious and satisfying. What a find!! I stumbled upon this newly opened bakery cafe while walking around Piraeus. Conveniently located near the harbor close to lots of interesting shops. The Koulouri are made fresh right before your eyes in a spotless glass enclosed kitchen area.

They offer so many different and creative flavors like the traditional crispy sesame koulouri made famous in Thessaloniki, whole wheat, corn, olive even sweet varieties like chocolate chip and raisin.

I had the corn koulouri and was compelled to follow it up with one encrusted with cheese. SO TASTY! Each koulouri can be filled with cream cheese and turkey, ham, tuna salad or olive patè and make for a great lunch or snack.

Juices are freshly squeezed as ordered and are as delicious as they are healthy. The coffee is incredibly delicious and extremely reasonable.
