What a way to start a beautiful day! Coffee and Pancakes!

Food: I had the Dubai pancakes, which to me they were perfectly named. Dubai is a place you enjoy but shortly it becomes overwhelming shortly. The pancakes were delicious for the first 10 bites but the sweetness made them a bit unbearable to eat because the sweetness was just too much. I still ate all of them!

Service: we had a lovely waitress who performed beautifully, dealing with demanding tourist, at one point she had an accident spilling coffee on him. She graciously handle the situation while the costumer acted like a 2 toddler while also acting life a baffon! How childish. The waitress remained calmed and apologized but left it at that. While the 50 year old toddler threw a baby tantrum. How sad...

Atmosphere: the restaurant is beautiful and inviting. The decor makes you feel joy and comfort. But I was personally impressed with the performance of the waitress who happens to appear small and shy but when handling the 50 year old toddler, she exhibited maturity and calmness, secure and properly addressing the needs of the toddler. Give this...

Absolutely ridiculous experience. I bought two donuts and a bottle of water from the bakery itself, then sat down with my 4-year-old daughter so she could eat what I had just bought. We were calmly sitting at a table — with plenty of other empty tables around — when a staff member came over and said we couldn’t sit there because of the plastic bottle.

I was shocked and asked, “What do you mean?” She said, “Sorry, but since you took it to go, you can’t sit here.” Let me be clear — this wasn’t a detail or a technicality. It’s a completely nonsensical policy that should never even cross their minds, especially when it’s about a mother and her small child peacefully having a snack they paid for.

I didn’t argue further, but people around us saw how absurd and unnecessary the whole thing was. We were literally told to leave because I asked for takeaway, even though we were consuming the food right there.

Zero empathy, zero logic. Never coming back — and I don’t recommend this...
