Street Souvlaki - Κατάστημα Σωτήρος Διός — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

The food at this place is generally quite good and enjoyable. However recently I ordered some chicken wraps, and the chicken was completely pink and raw. After contacting support, instead of apologizing for the mistake, they argued the chicken was not raw, but it was just the thigh which can look somewhat pinkish. This was a very strange interaction, as I had sent them the pictures of my food, where you could see the pure pink and shiny chicken. Later they told me they could arrange a redelivery the next day, I had asked if they could do a refund instead, as I wouldn't be easily available the next day. However, they sort of forced me to take the redelivery, as a refund was "impossible". This was very very uncomfortable, me and my girlfriend had to twist an arm and change some plans, just to get compensated for receiving raw food. In my opinion, this is a very strange way of handling customer issues. I don't mind the redelivery, but not having the option for a refund is very very scary as a customer.

All in all, while dining at this place can be very lovely and delicious, ordering from this place seems to be less good of an idea. Especially when the support argues, instead of accepting and apologizing.

Imagine if we were on vacation and leaving the next day... How would they resolve an issue like this...

Very bad communication within the staff and with the customer, we ordered and sat down. Waited around 10 minutes and new local customers came and ordered. Their food came within 5 minutes while ours hadnt even been made.

Asked when our food was ready to a girl working there, she gave an almost irritated look and didnt answer my question. Later went to ask the manager (I guess?) and he said that our order was on the way. It all took almost 20 minutes untill our food came. Saw atleast 4-5 customers who came later than us get their food earlier. The food itself was okay at best, meat was good but poorly seasoned. Went here on my first day in Athens and ordered a chicken pita. The chicken was still pink, totally uncooked. For some reason I went there again the next day to give it another shot (and also Bcs most other restaurants were closed). The meat (chicken and pork skewer) were again almost RAW. I only ate the kebab and the pita, salad, fries. Totally unacceptable and on top of that the staff is very rude. I wanted to pay and she rolled her eyes at me. The spicy baked feta is very good tho (only good thing about the place). PLEASE AVOID. I have salmonella now from the uncooked meat and had to change my plans yesterday night because of horrible...
