When visiting Platanias, make sure to visit Apolafsi Restaurant. It's a family owned restaurant and they always make you feel sooooo welcome. They are so kind and have a great sense of humor. Their food is delicious, and the portions enormous, so please come with a big appetite. Tonight hubby had Apolafsi spareribs, he said it's the best he's had this year, soooo tender (and so big!). I had the greek meatballs in tomato sauce with tasty vegetables on the side, very yummy. And everything is reasonably priced. Served with loads of raki as well, haha! We highly recommend eating...

Super good, tasty food! Kind and humorous staff, made the experience even better. We got tzatziki and grilled bread as starters, the tzatziki really good, with the perfect amount of garlic!

I ordered the ‘meatballs in tomato sauce’ and my mom ordered the stuffed peppers. Both were big portions, too big for us to finish. But if you’re hungry and looking for tasty food and a comfortable milieu, pay this restaurant a visit!

Fantastic restaurant above Street level so you're away from the street noise. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is also fantastic, we visited 3 times and were not disappointed with any dish we had. Lamb, Beef and salads are all highly recommended. Cocktails are prepared perfectly.
