Liotrivi Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

To be fair, we may have been there a bit too early for their liking. We got there right when the restaurant opened and were the only ones for a solid 20 minutes or so. I'm not sure if it was more of a surprise or annoyance for the staff, but the menus were delivered "by air." The menus were here and there on the table, and it was our duty to sort them out after their little flying session. We didn't even have time to start reading those menus when we were already asked/demanded to order. When we couldn't say anything yet, we were met with a long and loud sigh. When we were ready, we were ignored for a while, even though we were the only ones, and a bunch of the staff members were sitting on the table next to us. Half of the stuff in the menus could not be ordered. One member of our party didn't eat red meat, so there was only one option to choose from. Everything else on the menu was met with "we don't have that." I get it that it's not a fast food restartaurant, but almost 40 minutes for a kid's pizza is a bit too much. And it arrived burned. We found this place on Google and was really exited to try it! The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and stylish interior, and the service was very good! Before we were seated we were told about three dishes of the day that were not on the menu: stifado, t-bone for two and sea bass. We wanted to order Roasted potato with staka sauce as a starter, but since we wanted to try the stifado the waitress recommended to have another starter. We ended up going with Saganaki and Spring rolls, both of which were good.

The stifado was a little bit bland and sadly lacked seasoning. This is the first time in over a week we had to season our food. We came around 6PM so maybe it was too early for the flavours to properly develop. The sauce felt a bit thin and tasted less intense than previous stifados. Though this place is brand new, it was such a fantastic experience!! The moment we sat and ordered, they brought out fresh cus veg Grown by the chef himself, ON THE HOUSE! not only that, they make a lot of their food fresh from their garden not to mention the TASTIEST TOMATO MARMALADE YOU'LL EVER HAVE!! (coming from someone who doesn't like tomatoes or marmalade) Which they then gave us a free little jar!!

The food we ordered was absolutely incredible! I ordered the carbonara and it was sooo good, the best ive had yet and cooked to purfection! was also given a spoon too! Then to top it off, they came round and gave us all ice-cream on the house!
