Best Gyros In Platanias — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

We started by ordering our food and checked three times if the dish included fries. We were told that the dish for 10€ included fries. A couple of minutes later they corrected their mistake, the dish for 10€ did not include fries and we had to pay an extra 2€ which we did not count on. Eventually, we got our food. Nothing wrong with the food. The servers were like hawks, guarding us while eating, standing behind us every second. It was not very comfortable. On the other hand, when we were done & about to pay the servers were nowhere to be found. We waited 15 minutes for them to even be seen again. Had to wave multiple times, but they did not seem to care. We paid & then left. Wouldn’t go back. Also think it’s a bit pricey for “fast-food” as I would call this, the food was not very special and you probably could’ve spent 15€ better...

This is how it is, there might be better food in Platanias, but it will be more expensive.

This my friend, is my "go to place". If I want gyros, I come here, if I want to take a cold mythos beer, I come here. If I just want something light as a brunch or lunch. I come here. And that's why this is the number 1 place in all of Platanias. Got drunk the night before, come here. Woke up at 1 pm, come here.

Just eat here once and you too will understand...

Funny they call themselves "best Gyros in Plantanias.". I think most gyros in crete taste the same. Anyway, the gyros were very tasty, and the service was excellent. Prices were also very cheap. Highly recommended.

However, we also ordered crepes which came from across the road (assuming connected businesses), they had way too much chocolate inside. Ok for some, but not for me. Not losing stars for this, maybe it's...
