Freshness Lunch Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

Nice small cafe nearby where we were staying and since there were so many good reviews, we thought to go here. Service was friendly and casual, seemed like the staff knew many locals/ regulars.

There was a large selection but sadly not everything in the menu was available at noon. For example we wanted to order crepes, but the server told us that it becomes only available in the evening, which seemed strange to hear. Instead we ordered a classic omelette but was expecting there to be potatoes and bacon on the side and it being filled with tomatoes and cheese, but to our surprise we received 2 huge omelettes filled with all the ingredients, which we could have easily just ordered 1 to share and something small on the side. Also the blended beverage I ordered still had huge chunks of ice in it, which made it difficult to drink.

The music was a bit out of place, felt like we were in a club on a Sunday morning, having EDM and rave music blasting. Did not...

Had a superb pizza, crispy base and lots of toppings, tasty and perfectly cooked for me. Lots of drink options including coffees and soft drinks. Service was quick and with a smile and great value for money... will definitely go again and maybe try other menu options including burgers, pasta and salads... and wide selection of pies, pastries and sandwiches for eat-in or takeaway..... .... back again 2 days later and this time for the burgers 🍔... everything I said above was repeated, service with a smile from Sotiris, and this time burger was followed by the best red fruits cheesecake I've tasted...if you want a change from traditional Greek food or your all-inclusive fayre then give...

Excellent burger and chips. Not generally a fan of chips at all, but these chefs put real love into their food, including the chips which were great. Big delicious burger with salad and a brilliant burger sauce. They were also very happy to accomodate my partner who after taking bad reactions to too much salt was doing her best to avoid it. She recommended a chicken salad which we were very grateful for, as my partner was very uncomfortable due to high water retention (bloating) and breaking out due to so much salt (sodium).
