Avra Seaside Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

Very disappointed with this restaurant. We stayed at the hotel and booked dinner here. At first it was good service. Starters were good and came out fast. But when we got main course, the food was very dissapointing. A supposedly lightly seared tuna was way overcooked. Servers did not once check on us about the food, did not refill our drinks. They came with the bill immediatly after placing our order which meant we couldnt order more drinks or more food. Not a word from any server. Didnt ask if we wanted dessert, more drinks...

Amazing sea food! I definitely recommend the “kalamari with pesto”, the octopus and the taramosalata. Since I have been in the restaurant many times now, I have tried almost every dish in the menu, so I totally love it.

Also the location is spectacular. On the sea, usually with a sea breeze, you can relax just for couple of drinks or to dine.

Very good wine list, with a lot of options.
