1+1 — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

We have brunched/lunched here two times now and both times were really enjoyable.

The staff is very polite and open to have a small chat when they have the time to do so. I have also experienced that they are very relaxed and try to do everything to make your experience better. One in particular is very nice. He remembered our faces and would give us a friendly wave every time we happened to pass by. The food is also very reasonably priced. After the food we got some nice raki and a small dessert.

I would also like to mention that the interior is very nice. You also have fans hanging for when it gets too hot.

In the attachments you can find a picture of the pork souvlaki. I really liked this dish. The meat was good and the rest as well.

Restaurant is rated at Tripadvisor as ”Traveller’s choice” in 2017. So I had my high hopes for excellent food. They didn’t fully do that. Place looked lovely but there were little biteing flies that bothered. My choice were little fish with vegetables. Original portion was with fries and rice but those can be changed. I still got some rice with it. Fish wasn’t very good. They were deep fried which I don’t prefer and they lacked salt. I have eaten little fish last year in Nydri and those were excellent. But my vegetables were really good. My wife ate ”Gemista”, stuffed tomatoe and pepper. She really loved it. Children ate gyros and souvlaki portions from children’s menu. Service was polite and good.
