ARBONA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

We have had the worst dinner ever, we ordered grill shrimp and grill sardine (( and the food came, as pictures and it was not as we expected)) small 5 pieces of those and some rice and bean ( raw) I can’t eat it .. and we asked for the check from the waitress, she didn’t even ask how was the food, and then the man came with check, asking if the food was ok, I immediately said not, and I asked him to try the shrimp (( the texture was sloppy, not feel fresh at all)) and he immediately said; no no I believe you, but he didn’t do anything to make my dinner better.. so we left paying good money for the worst dinner we every had in that island...

We ordered seafood. The food was tasteless, rubbery and had a bad aftertaste. The smoked eel salad came with the smallest sample of eel hardly justifying its name. The chickpea balls were like bricks and the squid was uncooked and hard to chew. The staff was dressed in tasteless linen overalls that reminded of asylums. Poor things. Anyway they accepted our negative comments gracefully and were very kind in general. I hope they improve because they are at a key position and as mentioned before are very kind and that is why I am giving 2 stars, else it would...

The food was good. I ordered staka and eggs ... It had good flavor but the egg was a little undercooked. We got their beef patties .. really excellent flavor, tenderness and juicy. Their beets were well done with interesting goat cheese bits and we ordered off the menu: cooked greens. Very good flavoring. David ordered their lamb really good. Cleverly presented. Make sure you come to visit Panos and Antonio. Really, these guys are great and you shouldn't miss the opportunity to meet them. Such good waiters very attentive and...
