Summarising the 3 best things are how insanely clean it is (brand new), the amazing location and how lovely Marea and her mum are. Most importantly- -Marea and her mum are both so so lovely, and made us feel so welcome :) We had a direct WhatsApp so anytime we could drop a message to find out restaurant recommendations, bus timetables, things to do, anything we needed replacing in the room. Marea is very polite and always so quick to offer as much help as she can. Everyone we saw was so so so so smiley, the maid was very polite and helpful. -The huge benefit of going to a small hotel is that everyone really cares, and you really do feel looked after. -Location- The hotel has an absolutely amazing location, a quiet street with no cars and very little passing people yet the harbour is less than 2 minutes walk from the room. -The beach is 15 mins walk past loads of shops, cafes and restaurants. It's a nice walk that's not down a hot busy road, there's lots of shade under the cafe fronts and we really liked it. The beach is mainly sandy with loads of sunbed rentals/water sports, no massive rocks in the sea, it's got a nice gentle slope and doesn't get too deep too quickly. (The beach is huge! If you like a walk it's almost 12k long!) Please don't worry about this place not having a pool, we've never been on holiday without a pool before but would definitely do it again. The beach is so lovely you're not missing out. -You can walk 10 mins to castle remains with amazing views over the town/harbour. In the town there's lots to see if you have a cloudy day. -We couldn't see the sunset from the main harbour, it goes behind the hill but from the hotel if you walk 5 mins you can get the the other side of the town and watch the sunset by the sea. -Hotel- -Reception. The outside is well lit, there is key card entry and umbrellas if you need them. -Breakfast room. As we were at the end of the season we had breakfast in our room but the dinning area is lovely, light and airy with high ceilings. -Upstairs. There are 3 rooms so the hotel was very peaceful, the other rooms have their own entrance outside. -We stayed in the balcony room. Balcony small but enough for two. Door had open and vent position with anti bug net that could be slid over, didn't see a single bug or mosquito during out whole holiday. There was an area to dry bikinis which we found very useful. -Bedroom- -The bed was large and very comfortable, very soft sheets and great black out curtains. An LED control panel for lighting by the bed, great options for different types of soft mood lighting. Netflix big TV. -Kitchen. Not too small but also not too big, perfect useful size for what we needed, doesn't feel like it takes over the room. Again all brand new and totally spotless. Good size fridge with inbuilt freezer, two types of coffee we had filtered machine and pod machine, kettle, toaster and blender. We had wine, homemade raki, fruits, toast, homemade cake, orange juice, water, jam and butter already in the room ready for our arrival, this could be topped up daily if you wanted some more. (Also had a treat of hot homemade chocolate croissants one morning) -Insanely clean bathroom with large sink area for toiletries. Hooks for towels, fluffy robes and slippers. Good quality olive oil shampoos etc. Shower high pressured and hot, with a basket for toiletries. Beach towels provided. Towels, bedding, toiletries etc replaced daily. -Touchscreen controls for lighting/ac, on the control pad you click green for please clean the room or red if you don't need anything. They have thought of absolutely everything, you'd have to be a really mean person to give this place a bad review! A truly lovely family run business, brand new spotless hotel, perfect location, and we would 100% recommended you to go!

Everything was beyond expectations. The welcome surprise was a basket with many snacks, a bottle of wine and much more. It was a very good choice due to the location, room 101 very good, the bed very comfortable and quiet because it was a pedestrian street. Everything was perfect, we will come back with great pleasure.

It's a nice walk that's not down a hot busy road, there's lots of shade under the cafe fronts and we really liked it. Hosts were so welcoming when we arrived. They showed us to our apartment, which I can only say was OUTSTANDING.|Everything that you could possibly need was at hand.|The styling of the apartment was very smart.|The bed was sooo comfy!!!|The location couldn’t be better. We had a car, and it was so close to the fortezza car park, and at the same time in the heart of the old town. It was also on the street to the port.||Probably one of the nicest places we have stayed on our road trip around Crete!||We will definitely return here if we find ourselves in Crete again.||I would like to thank you for your lovely hospitality, and your kind gift.|Hope to...
