Yellow Brunch Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

Place is very small, the worst part is all internal tables are smoking, meaning you’re more than likely to be inhaling toxic fumes with your dinning experience. Find it bizarre that in 2025 people are allowed to smoke inside a public dinning place. Staff are fairly nonchalant, and I didn’t find them to be particularly helpful or that polite, may have just been a bad day, but it felt like it was a chore for them to take my order and bring it out. The food itself was very nice, a solid 7/8 out of 10, I can’t complain about that...

I went there for a quick cup of coffee when the cafe was a month old while vacationing in Rethimno. I instantly fell in love and went there almost everyday for a whole 2 weeks!

I tried every dish on the menu, fabulous!

The coffee is great, the atmosphere is brilliant, very good for work as the internet is fast and the seats are comfy.

The owner was there everyday and was very generous and welcoming… would definitely go again for coffee, a quick morning bite, or to work there for a couple of hours…

Had their cold brew and avocado healthy toast. Definitely the most interesting tasting cold brew. Almost medicinal in flavor. They serve it in an individual bottle with a glass and some ice cubes. Really wonderful service. Thoughtful, friendly. My breakfast was delicious. Love all the details in seasoning, flavor, presentation. Perfect portion.
