The worst service I have experienced in Greece. I’ve eaten a 5 course meal in less amount of time. We waited 15 minutes to see a menu, another 20 minutes for our coffee and another 40 minutes for our food, which didn’t arrive until we complained about it. After getting up and trying to leave and pay for our coffees only, the lady advised they had to service the tables with families first. All there was to do during our long wait was of course observe, and these ‘family tables’ were receiving one dish at a time, every 20 minutes. Wir waren zum Frühstück in diesem Laden und haben eine Acai Bowl bestellt. Vor der Bestellung habe ich die Kellnerin explizit gefragt, ob Erdnüsse enthalten sind, da meine Freundin stark allergisch darauf reagiert. Die Antwort war klar: „Nein, keine Erdnüsse.“

Trotz dieser Zusicherung kam es zum ernsten Zwischenfall: Nach dem Verzehr der Bowl zeigte meine Freundin sofort eine allergische Reaktion, musste sich erbrechen und wir mussten ins Krankenhaus – dort wurde sie behandelt.

Dieser Vorfall war nicht nur schockierend, sondern auch vermeidbar. Bei Lebensmitteln, die potenziell gefährliche Allergene enthalten können, muss das Personal genau informiert sein – oder klar sagen, wenn es sich nicht sicher ist. Stattdessen wurde uns falsche Sicherheit gegeben, was im schlimmsten Fall lebensbedrohlich hätte enden können.

Wir möchten andere Allergiker und ihre Begleitungen ausdrücklich warnen und raten, hier äußerste Vorsicht walten zu lassen.

Πήγαμε για πρωινό σε αυτό το κατάστημα και παραγγείλαμε ένα Acai Bowl. Πριν κάνουμε την παραγγελία, ρώτησα ρητά την σερβιτόρα αν το πιάτο περιέχει αράπικα φιστίκια, καθώς η φίλη μου είναι σοβαρά αλλεργική. Η απάντηση ήταν ξεκάθαρη: «Όχι, δεν περιέχει φιστίκια.»

Ωστόσο, μετά την κατανάλωση του πιάτου, η φίλη μου είχε άμεση αλλεργική αντίδραση. Έκανε εμετό και έπρεπε να πάμε στο νοσοκομείο, όπου της παρασχέθηκε ιατρική φροντίδα.

This is the one of if not the best restaurants I’ve been to in Europe, and anywhere. I’ve visited over 42 countries and the food here is incredible and clearly made with care.
