Pickaboo Eatery — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

I recently had the pleasure of ordering the homemade pies and burger from Pickaboo, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The pies were wonderfully homemade with a flaky crust that melted in my mouth, and the fillings were a burst of delicious flavors. Each pie was a delightful treat, leaving me craving for more.

Now let’s talk about the burger at Pickaboo. It was absolutely irresistible! The patty was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The combination of fresh toppings and a well-seasoned patty created a mouthwatering harmony of tastes. The burger was accompanied by crispy fries that added a delightful crunch to the meal.

What impressed me further was the excellent service at Pickaboo. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure that my order was prepared exactly to my liking. The eatery had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which made my dining experience even more enjoyable.

I haven't been into the store itself so I am not going to judge it when it comes to the service and the atmosphere. I am however going to judge it in its burger quality.

Ingredients wise, it's top notch. My beef was cooked medium well and it tasted wonderfully, even if a nice crust would've been very very very much appreciated.

The delivery driver was very quick as well, especially for the standards of the city. Any trouble we ended up having was that of the structure of the city itself and not the driver's.

It might be me being spoiled from other stores in Rethymno, however I find the prices to be a bit underwhelming for what you do end up getting.

At best the burgers are often "big mac sized" (very very small) and they don't leave any satisfaction behind in your stomach, with the sauces carrying the entire operation.

Please if possible increase the quantity or at least lower the prices. I know you probably won't because people buy that stuff anyways, but in my opinion, it's a nice step forward. I have mixed feelings about this place. It's McDonald's 2.0, except without the...

Excellent food, with the freshest of ingredients and wonderful flavours. Currently staying in Rethymno and wanted somewhere to get lunch. With so many eateries it is hard to choose but we were grateful we chose pickaboo. My wife had the Caesar Salad and I had the Cretan pasta Salad. Oh my, the flavours were superb. The fresh mint complimented the creamy goats cheese that melted in the mouth. Whilst the shatpness of the fresh green and red peppers and sundried tomatoes and cucumber contrasted with the perfectly cooked creamy penne pasta. It was so good I had to have it 2 days running. The 2nd day my wife had chicken belles, strips of fresh chicken breast coated in a delicious sticky sweet and sour coating. She loved that and the Caesar Salad.
