Went there last Wednesday and had an amazing time. Went again tonight Thursday 23rd June and was like chalk and cheese the most disappointing experience in a long, long time. The service tonight was absolutely shocking! compared to last week. Sat for 10 minutes before being asked if wanted a drink. Once someone attended ordered food at the same time. When it arrived my wife's pasta dish had no parmasan, last week full with parmasan shavings and served with the correct cutlery. Tonight again no spoon for a spaghetti dish? Eventually got a waitress to get some parmasan, took about 5 minutes and also eventually a spoon. By then the dish had gone somewhat cold. Also had to pour own wine, last week didn't have to do once. All the time during the meal no one inquired if all was okay again last week constantly asked if all was okay. This evening staff stood around talking and one young waiter was more interested about his phone than the paying customers. Once meal finished and eventually cleared sat for 25 MINUTES with no attention at all. No asking if would like dessert or coffee. Made my feelings and discontent to what I assume was the management with very little in return. Finally the guy who I assume was meant to be managing the area, again who not once inquired if all was okay, was more interested at one point in videoing the sunset, lovely, not. Firstly before going to this restaurant I messaged them on Instagram for the menu details however they expressed that they don’t give the menu out. Which we we found odd. Arrived at amalfi coast and As we got outside and walked towards the restaurant me and my boyfriend was so excited, and as we walked in the appearance of the restaurant itself was so beautiful and romantic with beautiful views. We sat down and looked at the menu it wasn’t a lot of selection at all. We then ordered food and The waitress came over and handed us the bill before we even had a drink or something to eat . The waitress struggled speaking English when I was asking questions. The food came and our starters were absoloutly appalling. Tasted greasy and dry. We had calamari and crispy mushrooms ( wouldn’t recommend ). I ordered pasta and my boyfriend ordered fillet steak. However the pasta came and it was very original tasting and not even the pasta I asked for. The fillet steak wasn’t worth the price at all although my boyfriend asked for chips with it it came out with this white mashy sauce with a big parsnip on top. Then 2 waitresses continued coming up to our table moving our bill to ensure we paid however we was obviously going to pay but AFTER we have eaten . We felt like they wanted us there to pay and then as soon as we’d eaten to leave , we’d finished our drinks and wasn’t even offered for any more. Really poor service considering how...
