We were looking for a good taverna experience with my girlfriend. I saw this place and the establishment date ~1970. I thought, it would be a good and real Greek experience. We tried grilled octopus, garlic bread, halloumi, garlic shrimp, tzatziki and ouzo. Unfortunately, ouzo was the only good thing. -Halloumi was like a Lidl product and served cold. -Octopus was like a tree bark. I ate it in minutes. It was awful and cold. -Bread was okay, fresh but cold again. -Shrimp was okay-ish. Nothing special and cold again. Service was good and fast. I liked the staff and their freindly attitude. Atmosphere is also okay, good and authentic interior design. As a sum, it was a really bad experience for a food. I am expecting a good service and better meal from an old-greek restaurant. It can get busy and no wonder ....just relax , soak up and enjoy that glass of wine while you wait for your delicious hot food served within a reasonable time. Why rush it's really worth waiting for...... Menu is varied to suit all taste at a reasonable price. From traditional Greek food , steaks to Pizza all freshly made. The family members are so friendly but at the hub is Stellios who buzzes everywhere making sure everyone is happy with a warm smile.... Read moreIf I could give less than one star I would, I'm finding it hard to think of a worse meal I've had. Who knew you could get grilled chicken and chips wrong! The chips were lower quality than you would find in a fast food place, the sauce was tasteless and congealed and the chicken was so rubbery it was inedible. They serve caramelised onions with the pork fillet, when I asked if I could have some with the chicken I was told "it's already made with the pork" which seems absolutely bizarre as it's not a mixed dish but maybe that should have told me that food is already prepared rather than made...
