Amaryllis Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

A large group of us rented a boat and then after was hungry. A few days prior we had all come here for a drink and the food looked nice so decided to sit down for a bite to eat. At first the man was very accommodating especially for a group of 16. We had 3 tables. The group was made up of many children around the age of 13. One of the children placed their aqua shoes on the floor creating a small pile of sand. Unfortunately, the man came over and hurled abuse at them. We collectively decided to leave as this is not an environment we want our children to be around. One of the children had collected lots of rocks at the beach and placed them inside of an empty plastic bottle. Unfortunately, he left the bottle at the table. He got outside before he realised and went back to get it. Before he could reach it, the man threw the bottle out of the restaurant. Well at first everything seemed nice we had a very young child with us and he was treated like a king even Nick named ' boss ' by the friendly man who worked there. But after that when some of us left and 2 adult's stayed to pay and one of our cards didn't work. This really ticked off the man who seemed so friendly earlier but the other one of us said they would take care of it . He was still very angry. But I should of mentioned that there was a cat on site and he claimed that the cat was his and the young one of us was interested by the cat but after we had payed he kicked the cat twice and it ran away. I had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic—portions were generous, and it was all very reasonably priced. You truly get a lot of food for your money! The host was exceptionally welcoming, super sweet, and had a great sense of humor, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The location was extraordinary, offering a beautiful setting, and the soft rock music playing in the background really brought the whole experience together. It created the perfect vibe!
