I arrived around 1am and everywhere was in darkness. The apartments appeared to be In the middle of nowhere. I had an email from Olympic holidays to say that my key would be left in the door of my apartment. After sheepishly fumbling around the complex for 10 minutes not wishing to wake anyone I found my apartment and opened the door and it was like a sauna. There was a heatwave and it was still in it's late 20's at night. I immediately looked for the remote control for the aircon, but there wasn't one. I looked in the fridge to see if they'd left me a bottle of water but no, nothing. So after 14 hours of travelling I had to sleep in a sauna with no water. The next morning I looked for the reception but there wasn't one so I went to the supermarket next door to buy much needed water. Apparently I had to pay for the aircon there and was given a remote control at the cost of nearly ā¬60 for 4 nights. I spoke to other holiday makers who were staying elsewhere and they said that their hotel staff had stayed up to greet them, given them water, air con and some even had food left for them and one said that their hotel owner opened his supermarket at 1.30am so they could buy supplies! That's what I call looking after your guests. ||There was no tv in the room or in the bar so no one could watch the Euro 2024. There was no atmosphere in the bar, hardly any guests drank there, which wasn't so when there were plenty of pool bars/taverns in town with great atmospheres, great selection of drinks at good prices and showing the football. There is a restaurant attached to the apartments but I never saw anyone in there. The staff and owner (who sat by the bar all day) weren't very friendly, I figured out that it was probably because I wasn't spending my days and evenings there spending my hard earned money with them.||There was no hair dryer and my apartment was like throwback from the 1970s, very uninviting. My shower wasn't working properly and it took them 2 days to look at it. I had to report it to the rep in the end as I was just being ignored. When I complained to the owner he said why didnt I report it to him, I told him that I did 2 days ago! So I couldn't shower even though it was 35 degrees. This is not acceptable. Sorry but this isn't the way to run a business. You need to look after your paying customers so they want to return. I definitely wouldn't return. ||I Didn't see anyone clean the pool (they could have done it very early) sunbeds were old and uncomfortable. I didn't have a balcony or a terrace, just a chair and table outside in the gang way where people walked past which was very intrusive as a solo female traveller. ||The apartments are approximately 15 minutes walk into town and on the way back it's up a bank, not a problem for me but not ideal if you've got mobility problems. It is close to a small lovely beach but you have to go up and down a steep bank. ||Pefkos is lovely, there are lots of fabulous restaurants, tavernas, bars, pool bars, beaches etc and I'll definitely be back just not at these apartments. Do yourself a favour and go and stay...

We Asked the Lady when the towel will be changed and she said is not a first class will be changed twice a week and it has been changed 2 times in two weeks. The small hob took 30mins to fry an egg so literally useless, and tripped the electric if had more than one hob on at a time. The airr conditioning whicg we had paid extra for wasn'treally cold and dripped throughout the night so we would wake to a pool of water on the floor. The shower was small with a shower curtain 12 inches off the ground. Needs some money updating the rooms and facilities and giving their guests a better experience.|Restaraunt/Snack bar: We had a lunch in the their sbank bar twice it was ok enough to share for two people (chicken pitta) on our last night we dicided to have Dinner which was dissapointing the sirlon steak that came in the bone it tasted old oil and the new potatos was very hard my partner had a lamb stew tasteless and we had a bad taste in our mouth.|The swimming pool was nice quite the 2nd week but busier in afternoons with some really old sun beds, many outside people that were staying elsewhere used the pool if they drank/ate at the snackbar.||Supermarket: next door ran by same owners as the apartments. There was no infomation in the room or outside the shop so we didn't know the opening and closing times .|On our way back one eveing we bought some stuff water from different shop, a few days later the owner said he was dissapointed that we ahd purchased from another shop as open all day for the guests and have the same prices and stock. We thought this was a joke as we can shop and eat anywhre we like. If you want your guest to eat in your restaraunt and shop in your shop then they should give infomation in the room and even they should offer a 10% discount to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is a little gem! I reviewed it before after our first visit in 2017 but weāve just returned from our third stay and loved it even more! Basic Greek apartments, which youād expect for the cost, but bins emptied daily and cleaned regularly. |The pool is beautiful and we saw it cleaned several times during our stay. Thereās never a fight for sunbeds and none of this āleaving your towels outā palaver. |Itās a fair walk out of the centre of Pefkos - maybe 15/20 minutes - but thatās what makes it peaceful and chilled, in my opinion. |The pool bar is well stocked and they do lovely snacks too. All really delicious and very well presented. Ravi, the barman, is an absolute star! We often came back from a meal in town and found a fair few folks in the bar, so it was a lovely sociable place without being too busy or noisy. |Air con is payable locally so youāll need to budget for that (around 13⬠per night). |If youāre looking for luxury, then Eleni may not be for you, but itās my idea of heaven! Quiet, peaceful, totalling relaxing and great views out to sea from some apartments. |Wouldnāt stay...
