Lotus Thai Restaurant Rhodes — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Unfortunately this place is a huge tourist trap. I assume it's one of the only Thai places. The staff are mute and miserable. The only words were uttered from both staff before the bill came was "yes please".

The food is overpriced by alot. UK based we are and shocked to see the poorness of everything.

5 sips and my laced iced cocktail was gone. 10euros.

Sharing two small starters although pleasant. Overpriced.

The mains 15 euros for a mystery meat massaman.

Came with rice. Although this Thai doesn't do coconut rice or sticky rice. The watery curry appeared with as about as much meat as a butchers pencil.

The manager I assume when he brought it over wasn't sure if it was pork or beef. I asked for beef. But it was grey.

The small shriveled bits of chewy low quality flesh wasn't good. Couple bits of soft potatoes and a watery curry that was just ok.

Really not a good experience. The only time I got a smile and actual sentences from the waitress is when the bill came.

Amazing Thai Food Experience in Rhodes!

I had a truly wonderful dining experience at Lotus Thai Restaurant in Rhodes. The food was absolutely delicious – full of authentic Thai flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was generous in portion size, which was a pleasant surprise!

The restaurant itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s beautifully set up, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal – whether you’re with friends, family, or just enjoying a quiet dinner.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. They made us feel right at home and took great care of us throughout the evening.

We discovered this gem during our week long holiday in Rhodes. After having had enough of eating gyros and souvlakis, we were really looking forward to trying some nice flavorful thai food. As soon as we entered the place, we were greeted by a friendly host. We ordered the usual Thai appetisers (satay, dumpling, papaya salad) which were all delicious and as good as any Thai food outside of Thailand. The mains were even better and we enjoyed it so much that we went back the next evening for takeaway. The owner and his wife are really friendly and looked after us really well.
