From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the owner, a true gentleman who treats every guest with utmost graciousness. The culinary skills of the chefs are truly remarkable, evident in every exquisite dish they prepare. The ambiance was simply perfect, providing a delightful backdrop for our dining experience.

After encountering various odd experiences at other establishments in Rhodes, Napoli Pizzeria stood out as a beacon of excellence. To our surprise and delight, we were treated to complimentary starters and desserts, a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction.

We had the pleasure of dining here twice, and on both occasions, we left impressed and satisfied. It was heartwarming to witness the owner's gesture of passing on our tip directly to the chef, who received it with humility and gratitude. My wife's Pork Steak was not only generously portioned but also cooked to perfection, while I indulged in their delicious pizzas, leaving with ample leftovers to enjoy later. The freshness of their homemade chips added an extra layer of satisfaction to our meals, a testament to their dedication to quality.

The Napoli Pizzeria is a lovely relaxed and friendly restaurant in Ixia. The owner and his team are very welcoming and very professional in a low-key way. The restaurant and kitchen are spotless, the service is impeccable and the food is wonderful. In addition to a predominately Italian menu, there is a daily special main course and a daily special dessert. The restaurant also offers a few Greek dishes including one of the best moussakas I have ever eaten......not swimming in grease and soggy aubergines......generous and well defined layers of minced meat, vegetables and bechamel sauce. Although the house wine is pleasant, I would recommend that you order a bottle of wine as there are some really excellent Greek wines on the wine list. A meal for two with a bottle of wine cost around 50 euros, which I consider to be very good value given the quality of the food and the enjoyment that I got from eating in this lovely restaurant. The restaurant also offers a take-away service and a pizza...

Finally a decent restaurant in Ixia. This eatery ticks all the boxes. Firstly …it’s buzzing at 8pm literally jammed. It’s full of the usual tourists but crucially local Greeks and their families. The head waiter was absolutely brilliant. Welcoming and good patter. Straight to table. Prompt service. This guy knows his job. Back in Glasgow he could pick and choose his jobs. Despite how busy the place was we were served promptly and courteously. My wife and daughter were here 4 years ago and they lived it then. My wife and I fell in love with the place. Did I mention the food? Fresh, delicious and wee touches of brilliance that makes this a great dining experience. Lovely wee selection of dips with the incredible bruschetta. Olive paste was incredible. Iced glasses for the inevitable glass (or two) of Mythos. Perfect service and perfect food. Not going anywhere...
