Sfina Greek Eatery — Restaurant in Municipality of Serifos

We went here thinking that we will have a nice night at sfinas... i went with my parents, and we instantly got a table. The hostess was very nice too, the real situation happened when my mom asked the waiter if the sauce for my octopus can be on the side of the plate. The man just stared her down like my mother was stupid, and he had the worst additude i have ever seen in a restaurant.... Now, remember this, it was 20:20 Pm when we ordered... we waited and waited, while we were getting hungry and angry. The waiter kept walking past us and other people appeared at the restaurant, guess what... The people that arrived AFTER us, got served BEFORE us, we then noticed that the people behind us got the dish that MY MOTHER ordered. That was the last straw, we complained and the hostess said that our food JUST got ready, the second we complained... no way that was a coincidence. She then went inside and told the waiter guy something, perhaps that he should get our food from the spot where they were hiding it from us. End of story, I'm not sure if the waiter guy had a bad day or if he's just an idiot, but the women was mostly friendly. We left and didn't eat the food that was just finished. For our final night in Sefifos, we wanted to have a nice meal. Based on the reviews that we read, we decided to try Sfinas. The hostess was very nice. The waiter had an attitude from the beginning. My son wanted the octopus and my wife asked if it was possible to have the sauce on the side. Instead of answering yes or no, he just stared at her as though she was an idiot. RegardIess, we decided to complete our order and enjoy a tasty meal. We then waited over an hour for our meals, while watching other customers receive their orders. After a customer seated at the table beside us, who entered the restaurant after us, was served the same meal that my wife had ordered (grilled calamari), we decided we had waited long enough. We then told the hostess that we wanted to wait no longer and we would like to pay for our drinks and leave. At that time the waiter showed up and said, "Your order is ready. ". However, not only was the order late, but incorrect. He brought mussels for my wife instead...

We got a table quickly, however we sat for a long time without them giving us the menus. It took almost an hour before we could place the order. They were two people serving the whole restaurant and it was not even full when we came. We also did not get our drinks until the food was almost served. We had to ask for our drinks twice. The waiter was more focused on giving services to the bigger tables and prioritising serving them rounds of beers and wine, rather than making sure the small ones also got our drinks and menus. The pork shank was delicious, the chicken was a bit dry. In total we used 2 hours here. We asked to pay and after 15min the waiter told us we had to go inside to use card. Went inside to wait and the waitress told us the card machine did not work, only cash. Unless you have a lot of time to spare, then sure...
