Where should I start of? If I never wanna visit this restaurant it will be too soon. On the other hand saying this is a “restaurant” is probably a compliment for them.
After taking a look at the reviews we decided to sit in this place.
There was a hostess which was running all over the place like a manager wannabe. It was our turn to ask for a free table, but she decided to disregard that and serve first a group that came after we did. Moving forward, when she finally decided it’s our turn we were told: “Unfortunately there is no free table”. Only if we knew earlier that this quote is going to be a favour for us… We however noticed there was a free table as a group which was right next to us and the hostess, has decided not to sit there and the table was not reserved at first place. When we did her job and told her that the table seems free and the group will not stay there she confirmed with them and said: “Okay come then” and gave us a business card with the saying that we can leave a review. Our answer was that we will leave the review after our experience which have seemed to be a surprise for her judging by her reaction. Leaving that behind here is when our journey with the worst experience ever started. We’ve waited for quite some time before a waiter took our order. We had bread and water brought which we didn’t order so we would assume it’s a compliment from the house. Well our guess was wrong, the bread was included in the bill and was 5 euro. We barely did touch as it was hard as rock and tough for eating. Moving forward we ordered 2 greek salads which were brought 30 minutes after. Have you ever tried a salad with no taste? Well we had the chance to do so. I was worried we got no smell and taste due to the popular virus, but that wasn’t the case. The greek salads contained radishes and peppers and some unidentifiable spice which was probably taken from the local jungle. Forgetting about the taste as anyway there was none, we had the chance to actually try it after waiting for 10 more minutes to get a fork and knife for which we had to ask as it seemed as a privilege to have those. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for salt and olive oil which of course we additionally asked for as well. The salt was brought under small packets like we were in a fast food. Along with the salad we’ve ordered the so famous Retsina which was served warm so they destroyed our hope on the taste of it as well. With our order we also had zucchini, fried shrimps and grilled octopus which we decided not to have after 1 hour of waiting and our overall experience so far so we’ve asked for the bill. In the meantime while it was taking a millennial on waiting for the bill our dear hostess decided to turn up and light up our candle on the table which was dying for a spark from the very beginning. With a smile on her face looking as she did something impossible she asked: “Good?” with a questionable look. We told her then about our experience and that we were leaving and received in exchange : “Ok” with zero emotions. In the meantime another waiter decided to turn up with the octopus which was probably already a fossil by the time taken to be served. We simply rejected it and told we are already leaving. Meanwhile me and my friend were paying the bill the same hostess we’ve spoken with a minute ago asked our girls if they were looking for a table.….
So here is your review, dear! Places like this...
Read moreThis was the worst restaurant we visited in these 3 weeks. It’s good that we left it for last and didn’t spoil our impression earlier. Only extreme hunger and fatigue forced us to be here and eat it all. for which we paid an hour later.
ATTENTION!!! the prices on the menu and the prices on the receipt do not match! the Greek salad on our bill was 12€. however, on the website the menu costs 11€. Sardines cost 11€ on the menu, but on our bill they were also 12. The pasta was also 1€ more expensive. I noticed this after we had already left! be careful!
⛔️1. the most untasty Greek salad, tasteless vegetables, tasteless oil, plastic cucumbers. where they found such vegetables remains a mystery. at the nearest grocery store we bought much tastier tomatoes and cucumbers. and the most inexpensive oil from the store was divine! but not in this restaurant. ⛔️2. Be prepared that bread and water, which are brought as a compliment, will be included in the price. even if you didn't ask for bread and water, they will still bring it and count it anyway. ⛔️3. fried zucchini, this is a dish you can't mess up! but here they fry it in old oil, so they taste sour and burnt. and the sauce is served in a small saucer, so it’s not even clear what kind of sauce it is. ⛔️4. sardines cost 12 € and were announced as a main course, but they brought only 6 pieces in the form of fillets, without a side dish. like it's a snack.
⛔️5. shrimp pasta was not fresh!
We waited 30 minutes for all dishes. and we waited 15 minutes for the check at the end.🤦🏻♀️ I really don't recommend coming here. there are so many good places around! In 3 weeks we traveled all over the peninsula and never encountered such...
