Nel Fuoco Pizza — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

We had really high expectations since the place in right in the middle of Nikiti beach with a lot of people coming in,place was packed,the atmosphere was nice but we left disappointed by both food and service.First of all,the pizza may seem big but it wasn’t feeling at all.After ordering 2 pizzas in the biggest size we felt hungry really fast,the sizes are deceptive,even though the prices are very overpriced even considering the location of the place.The tastes were also off,pizza Special was nothing like its supposed to be,as well as lacked bacon,Margarita was too oily.Both of pizzas were burnt badly.The quality is really questionable.When it was time to pay we saw that for the water bottle which they brought on our table right when we sat(we didn’t ask for it) we were charged €2.5 ,which us unacceptable.After we paid we needed to wait 10 minutes for waiter to bring the change,as well as we asked to put the rest of the pizza for take-away,normally the waiter would take the plates and the remaining pieces INSIDE the restaurant and pack it himself for us,instead the waiter forgot that we asked for take-away,after couple of minutes just threw the box on our table,on top of the pizza and dirty plates and just left. This is what I would call a tourist trap! If all places around have a waiting line and you see empty tables in a certain place, there must be a reason and in this case it's the food and the very loud TVs showing sports as if you went to your local sports bar. They advertise Carbonara being made with bacon, which is fine, if you don't have pancetta, but if instead of pancetta and bacon, you use plain cooked ham, that is NOT OK! Their interpretation of parmigiano is also a bad choice, since the grated cheese served has never spent a minute close to any parmigiano. The pizzas are NOT made with mozzarella, but with Gouda cheese and they will disclose that, but the aftertaste is simply terrible. It's that place you hate or love; in my case it was the first. The worst "pizza" I've eaten in my life. I put it down as "pizza" because what they serve here can not be called a pizza at all. The dough is awful and the toppings are sparse and horrible quality, they were like the cheapest ones in the back of a shady supermarket. We ordered two capricciosas, one medium and one large, i should note that the large one was supposed to be a little more than 50 centimeters in diameter, howerer i couldnt stop but notice that the large pizza was very obviously not shaped like a circle, but more like an oval and was about 5cm shorter on each end.
