Florida restaurant bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

I popped in here and booked a table on the way to another restaurant a few days prior to coming here for dinner. It was almost missed off the list and I'm so glad I didn't. When booking the table the young lads English was better than folk back home, I honestly couldn't tell and he was a lovely lad too.

The atmosphere of this place is incredible, I ate at 8 o clock and it was just starting to get busy but just being there by the beach in such a unique setting really made my day. If I'd have eaten later on I would have been able to get some A+ photos.

The food was also unreal. I had grilled halloumi which was nice, I've had halloumi in a few other places and you get your money's worth. But the piece de resistance was the pork souvlaki. I harp in about the best ever was a greek place in Germany and for the first time in 25 years has this taste been triumphed. And to think I almost got a pizza and would have missed out on it.

I went to Florida restaurant multiple times during my stay in Kavos and I must say it truly stands out from anywhere else I visited. From the wonderful service I received from Niko and the kind staff to the astonishing views and pink skies while I tucked in to my tender Salmon fillet steak. As a seafood/fish lover I must say that I hadn’t had salmon this good before. Beautiful restaurant with excellent food. The restaurant is located on the beach which in itself (in September) was horrid but the restaurant is decorated beautifully, surrounded by flowers and trees. It is outdoors and can get a bit windy and chilly but you can always sit further back for the sea. Food here was the best have had and we have had great food in Kavos. We had the seafood lasagna and special pizza and it was homemade and the ingredients were great quality.
