Olympia Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

This is by far the best Restaurant in Kavos. The service is prompt and polite, very helpful. I need to point out that this restaurant in Kavos is not only the best for quality and choice, but I believe possibly the best in corfu. I have been to dozens and dozens of restaurants all over corfu, from roda to Kavos. Travelling up and down both sides of the map. I mean this is getting a top rating basically because everything about the place scores the same score, from the meeting to seating, polite service to, drinks, ordering food, starters, main, sweet are all on the same par. The choice on the menu will suit everyone and every pocket. There is nowhere else in corfu that offers such deals and quality of service and at the same time quality in food. Everywhere else would charge double to what you pay. If 6 stars where selectable I would select 6 stars just for quality consistency. Just in case your reading this owner of Olympia and Daughter, we are the British people from Yorkshire the young teen the women on Mobility Scooter and the son that stayed in Kavos in 2017 and visited you for a day in early September 2018 as we where staying in roda and we rented a car for the day and drove down to Kavos . Fantastic and wholesome restaurant on a side street off Kavos' main strip. A local Greek man warmly greeted us on many occasions, even if we were only passing. This was my favourite restaurant of all in the area and we ate here on 4 or 5 ocassions. The food is incredibly cheap at roughly 9 euros for a 3 course meal. Often with set menus you get small portions although that was not the case here! Some places in the area charge more than this for a main alone, so if you're on a budget this is definitely the place for you.

My favourite starter was the Greek meze dish which offers you a variety of traditional Greek foods like hummus, tzaziki, cheese pies, stuffed vine leaves etc. So if you're wanting to be adventurous and try a few things this is a nice touch. My favourite main was the mousakka which was tasty and flavoursome. My partner also enjoyed the mixed grill platter which offered a huge portion of different meats. We were pretty impressed over all- a small suggestion though. The menu is very confusing (they have 4 different menus) it really just needs to be simplified to make for a better and more straightforward...

Food is definitely the best we’ve tasted this entire holiday… We came for our first wedding anniversary and started with Tzatziki & pitta and also stuffed vine leaves my wife had lamb kleftiko & I had the Stifardo it was outstanding! We’ve revisited and for a very good price had a 3 course meal starting with garlic mushroom fish, my wife tried the moussaka and I got to try the lamb kleftiko and it was worth the wait I’ve tried a lot of kleftiko from different family but this was definitely my favourite of all.! (traditionally cooked to perfection) finishing with tiramisu beautiful me and the wife highly recommend when visiting Kavos this is the best place to eat beating all prices and quality of food… The Tavern Olympia is just off the strip opposite BUZZ 5 star...
