Restaurant "El Cielo" — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

During our week-long stay, we visited El Cielo four times – and we’re probably going back for lunch on our last day too. That says it all!

From the very first visit, we felt the warm, family atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and even started to recognize us by the second visit, which made it feel like coming back to friends. That personal touch is something truly special.

The food is outstanding – fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and love. Every dish we tried was delicious, which is why we kept coming back. You can really tell the kitchen puts heart into every plate.

I’ve traveled a lot and experienced many places, but there’s something about the ambiance and cuisine at El Cielo that really stands out. It’s cozy, authentic, and simply a joy to spend time here.

After a friendly welcome we saw the plentifull menu that had much to offer for vegetarians also. Then we had an excellent service by the team, the starters were amazing same as the main dishes. My girlfriend had veggie Burger, I had enchiladas. Everything was served in an appealing way to our delight. The tastes were very natural and rich. So big compliment for the kitchen! We visited with friends last night after they had recommended previously. Good points lots of choice on the menu bad points it's rather expensive and the quality of food is poor. The rice seemed like microwave rice and I thought it was the worst meal I have ever had in the resort in the 5 years we've been coming. If you cant do some thing well then you shouldn't do it at all. Bruschetta is not a slice of toast with tinned tomatoes and a sprinkle of feta on top! Worst 4.50 euros for soggy toast. I will never go back to them again.
