Edited in response to the owners response –
As a paying customer I have a right to feedback on your poor services. Your response alone is unprofessional and borderline aggressive; hopefully this will prove my point re your behaviour during that night to any other potential customer reading this review. The simple fact is that the meal was dry and there was not enough sauce; an acknowledgment would have suffice, yet you proceeded to be defensive and rude for absolutely no reason at all. Feedback is a good thing, most established companies value it and use it as a tool to learn from their customers; it would appear that you use it as a tool to verbally beat and intimidate your customers. Finally, what’s with the “karma will get you” comment; hopefully no one will have to endure that dry food, let alone karma forcing it upon someone! I can't fathom for the life of me as to why this place has such good reviews. If I could give a minus I would. Started off ok, until my friends main meals came; they had this pasta dish which was supposed to be traditional. It was drier than my mouth after a heavy sesh! We complained and literally got started on by the waitress and the manager! I mean how dare anyone give honest feedback... apparently they had served 800 over the season; maybe that's why they'd ran out of...
Read moreDo NOT order the Carbonara pasta, a huge disappointment! I should have read Anna‘s AND Ethel’s reviews below beforehand and they were right. I needed to eat pasta but it was not done properly with egg but with cream and disgustingly hard, fatty, almost rancid tasting pork bits (which gave it a bitter flavor). If your worst ratings are over the pasta, then 1) cook it properly and traditionally or 2) take it off your menu. I gave an extra point because the waitress seemed genuinely concerned, yet slightly aggressive. She did offer a new meal (which I graciously refused), then the meal was for free.
My son hat a BBQ Pizza (which he found creative, interesting and tasty) but wouldn’t order it again. My Girlfriend ordered the zucchini balls and absolutely loved them. We thought they were very tasty but we think it was mint that gave it a light bitter aftertaste (she liked that).
I think the waitress still wanted to make amends, so she came with free dessert (sweet cake and ice cream). My son agreed, we didn’t because we are not dessert fans, sorry. :-( Maybe if she offered an Ouzo or fruit plate we would have accepted.
Overall, nice atmosphere with clay oven for pizzas (which made it warm inside), friendly staff but...
Read moreWe have just dined at Terry's restaurant here in Kavos. Luckily, we are staying at the Erofilli hotel, so got a 10% discount as they own this restaurant.
We arrived just before 9.00pm, and were seated quickly.
We did however have to wait a while for someone to take our drink and food order, which was disappointing as it was very hot this evening!
However, the food was delicious! I had the chicken with parmesan crust and veggies, and my partner had the ham and bacon pizza.
The chicken was moist and super flavourful. Whilst it looked like a smaller portion it was deceptively filling.
The pizza (which is made fresh by the lovely chef in the open kitchen) was also very tasty and for such a simple topping, it was so filling. The tomato pizza base was rich and intense which we loved.
I had a glass of the sauvignon blanc which was nice and only €5.
My partner had the strawberry daiquiri which was €9.
Only thing we would have liked was if our waiter came to check on us when were eating. However, he did ask us after we finished dining whether we enjoyed our meal, and he was super friendly.
Overall we would recommend this...
