Although coined a juice bar and healthy option for food and protein drinks, the same could not be said for the impact it had on the environment! After ordering a matcha, iced coffee, yogurt bowl and sandwich, we were surprised to find plastic packaging on every single product, including the drinks which were plastic cups, plastic tops and plastic straws (if we hadn’t brought our own paper straws the whole drink would have been a shade of plastic!). It was disappointing to order a brekkie and witness the effect four products would have long-term on the environment, (although we note there were paper bags and cutlery available). The same poor quality could not be attributed to the staff, who were friendly, kind and very helpful in describing to us the difference between the avocado and turkey sandwich-thanks-!. In general, a movement away from plastic would be our main takeaway...
Read moreI ordered take away from Join for the first time as had to come for work to Thessaloniki. Honestly, i rarely review because most of the time I will be in a ''meh'' for it, but this time I will need to make an exception. I ordered an Avocado Sandwich, Salmon Bowl and a coffee.
Flavour: definitely fresh and a nice variation of ingredients that complement each other. However, as a take away, the sauce was not spread evenly, which is rather difficult i admit. But if it was, the salad would have been heaven with every bite.
Price: perfectly normal considering the freshness and many other factors.
If i was to spare another morning in Thessaloniki I would consider it more than pastries loaded with salt, empty carbs, low nutritional value that slow my body, brain and affect overall health in the long run.
Good job whoever runs this business, hopefully you don't drop...
Read more€7 for yoghurt that is sold to you with via the first picture you see in this review, alongside a 44gr protein statement.
What you get is attached as the second picture in this review, a very tiny food portion that is not only disproportionate to the advertised product, but also to the price and dietary contents themselves. To top it all off, there's no way we're dealing with 44gr of protein either, and the berries were frozen and couldn't even be chewed.
I also got a chicken sandwich, advertised in the same way. It came much smaller, extremely cold and dry (the avocado mousse was nowhere to be found). Also, 40gr of protein was advertised, and the total chicken in it was approximately 80gr. Since when is chicken 2:1 protein?
For €13, the experience, as described, deserves no more than 0/5, especially in today's difficult times where ill-gotten...
