The service on our visit was really bad and that's the reason for the low rating.
We ordered a salad, a burger and one more dish. The salad and the burger arrived - the meat of the burger must have gone bad because it tasted sour, so I informed our waiter. He took it away and offered to remake it, but I explained that I was really turned off by the taste and would rather get the menu to order something else instead.
10-15mins later we still didn't have a menu and were almost done with our meal, so I signaled him and told him that we're good and won't be ordering anything else. He acknowledged.
10mins after that, he brought a new burger.
We were basically done with our meal, so I asked our waiter why he had made a new burger after I told him that I didn't want it twice, and he said "it was no problem".
I explained that I wouldn't eat it because I don't think the meat was good, and he repeated over and over again that it was no problem and he would put it in a box. He came back with a box and asked us if "everything was good with our meal"... I replied that obviously it wasn't good since we returned the burger?? And I asked for the bill.
The bill arrived and we had been charged for that burger!!
I was not in a mood to argue, so we paid and left the box with the untouched burger on the table. I certainly won't be coming back here, but hopefully whoever is the manager at the restaurant will read this review and consider training the staff better on how to deal with a situation like this. Read moreI visited the place back in 2019 and enjoyed their red velvet pancakes. Now the plating is still impressive, but the taste is not as good as it used to be. The lodging is not well maintained and the restroom facilities are disappointing. But what is most unpleasant is their attitude towards their clients. I asked for waffles and pancakes with simple chocolate topping for my children, they responded they do not do that. Mind you that I ordered one serving per child and I did not ask for a lower price than what was offered in the catalogue. Upon paying we also asked for the leftovers to be placed in a box. They said they don't do that either due to covid rules and they can give us the box to do it ourselves. This is the first time during the pandemic that I hear that, in every store we have been at they are always happy to put our leftovers in a box. I don't appreciate being given ridiculous excuses, nor being denied simple and decent requests, so I am not going back...

I was excited to get to the sweet components of brunch, however, the savory elements, dishes, were so below par that I couldn't tolerate a step further in the course. I got a triple bacon bagel, which was slightly depressing meat, on a rather passable bagel. Everything there was more or less just about on the wrong side of acceptable for someone hungry enough not to care.
