I had lunch here last week, the octopus and the salads were very tasty but I was disappointed of the service at our table. We asked for ouzo and a fresh salad like Greek or something with tomatoes, the waitress said there was no tomatoes, I tried to explain that we wanted Something fresh to have with the ouzo and she kept saying there is nothing, after we ate some salads that we didn’t really want but had no other choice and finished our drinks we noticed a black board with the specials written in Greek, so I went to the bar to ask what that was, they explained it was rocket salad with tomatoes cheese and croutons, the people at the bar and I the kitchen was so ready and happy to explain what everything meant from Greek to English, but the waitress kind of ruined for us. It didn’t feel like she cared at all and I believe that is one of the most important reasons why you would eat out rather than at home. Maybe it’s a just a hit or miss with...

Food was very good, I especially recommend the fried feta which comes with a lovely honey and red peppercorn dressing, and the beetroot salad which comes with a very nice cheese which is grilled like halloumi but not at all rubbery. The bread they brought out with the food we ordered was also excellent. The house wine was great value and the outside seating under the awning and trees, just inside the old town wall, was nice too.

The waitress spoke English, but not well enough to understand my question about how many dishes we should order. We guessed at five things, plus the bread basket, for two adults, and that was roughly correct but four of the larger things would also be enough.

If you are able, it is well worth the walk up the steep hill from the town center.

My only criticism is that they didn't let me add a tip to the credit card bill, and I had no cash, so I'm leaving this five star review in lieu of the tip I...

I recently had the pleasure of lunching at Toixo Toixo in Thessaloniki, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and attentive waiter who made us feel right at home. The service was fast, but never rushed, and the waiter's recommendations were spot on.

As for the food—it was absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented.
