Stopped in for a end of day cocktail, to relax and reminisce about the day. Ordered a dry gin martini, only flavor experienced was vermouth. My wife ordered a Paloma but I accidentally knocked it over from the unstable woven plastic table top. Told the wait staff so they could clean it up at their leisure so bugs would not be attracted to the sweet liquid. They seemed unconcerned. They asked if we wanted to order another. We specifically said if they wanted to replace the spilled cocktail, yes, otherwise, no. We tried to order an appetizer but they said we’d have to move from the patio to the dining room to make that type of order. Instead, we ordered off the bar snacks menu. I was asked if I wanted another 18 euro martini, I did not. Wait staff asked if our focaccia snack came. It hadn’t. Another Paloma came. We waited. Our snack finally came. We finished. We patiently waited for a waiter/waitress to pass by so we could ask for our check. We saw two standing off in the empty restaurant having a lively conversation. We finally decided to go to the bar to pay. As we walked to the bar, our waitress appeared, apologizing because she and a colleague were having a debate. Upon receiving the bill, we saw two Palomas charged. We made comment that we only wanted the second if it was going to be a generous replacement of the spilled one. The waitress said the spilled one was not their fault. We didn’t object strongly but as the waitress said she would check with her manager, we signed the bill to our room as is and walked out. Not the experience we wanted on our vacation but sometimes these things do happen. We move on and don’t let it spoil our time. Footnote: we normally tip 15-18% for reasonably good service and 20% for great service. On this...
Read moreQuite a lovely place to dine, nice chairs and a clean environment. Food is very expensive (15 euro for a glass of lemonade) and was not that good for what we paid for. Our pasta was still raw (not an dente) but we got a refund and free ice cream. Vegatarian options are limited. Waiters are a bit pushy but I think that's what they are told to do. Overall not something worth...
Read moreI’ve visited Elios restaurant at Noūs hotel twice this summer. I have to tell the food was very good and the service even better. Thomas was really helpful with us choosing our favorites from the menu and the drinks, he was very professional with his service and also very kind with his team. I like those kind of vibes when I’m visiting a restaurant. 100%...
