Eucalyptus Houses — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

A very friendly and helpful stay. If there is anything you need the owners will help you out. The room we booked was a two bedroom 'house' though it is more of an apartment. It is at the back of the main hotel so we had to walk a short distance through a car park and up a dusty unmaintained driveway. This was not a problem though people with accesibility needs will struggle. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Everything worked. We came here as it was the only place that had a stove so we could cook our meals ratehr than eating out. The bathroom was a little unusual as it was on two levels with three steps down to the toilet and shower. The lighting could have been better down there. There are three nearby supermarkets. One is opposite the hotel 'Proton' - good for a quick shop but pricey compared to the larger supermarket up the road (turn rigth from the hotel and it's a 2 minute walk). The third is across the road from Mike's Grill where you can also pick up the bus to Fira. A useful location and comfrotable...

Eucalyptus house was a very pleasant surprise for us. I have always stayed at big hotel chains so I didn't know what to expect. The apartment was big, comfortable, clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly; Cold, hot water. Clean towels and sheets ...|You can surely walk to Thera but it is not a safe thing to do due to the lack of sidewalk on your way there and lots of traffic.But right in front of the property there is a bus stop that takes you there, and to other villages, in 10-15 minutes for less than 2 euros. Super easy.|But the best part is not the apartment itself, it is those who manage it. Fanis and Giulia are the best hosts you can ask for. Before, during and even after our stay, they were always there to give us recommendations, to book tours, transfers, restaurants ... always making sure we were enjoying our stay . We cannot be more grateful for them.|100%...

Lo primero destacar la familiaridad y resolución de Julia, te orienta de lugares, te soluciona y trata como una madre, de hecho el último día teníamos que irnos a las 7am y vino expresamente a prepararnos el desayuno cuando no era su obligación, todo con una sonrisa. Nos alojamos en el apartamento 3, la cama era muy cómoda y el baño una pasada. Pagamos por el desayuno y fue todo un acierto, te lo preparan ellos mismos, súper completo y de calidad! En cuanto a la ubicación está en una zona un poco fea, pero el alojamiento y recepción está limpio y cuidado, nuevo, con un supermercado enfrente, parada de bus en la esquina y un montón de restaurantes en la zona, llegas a Fira en 5 min en coche o bus y en general, estás en el medio de la isla si luego quieres visitar Oía, Pyrgos, Emporyo, etc. Lo recomiendo!

Negativo: algo que no nos gustó fue el desayuno que empezaba tarde (9 am) aunque con la cantidad y calidad lo suplía, y que la ducha estaba bajando unas escaleras y no tenía luz, el resto...
