Grandma's Recipes — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Rude staff, not kind to blacks ppl. Went to order food man immediately told us wait with nasty attitude, then walk away then sent someone else to assist. Would not recommend. Other people who went after us before we could talk to them was told to sit outside with his pregnant wife (also black).

Update: Please dont try to lie, there were only two other patrons in the restaurant, who were sitting down. I came in to place an order to go, "Instead of how can I help you? ", your rudeness turned six people who were all in my party away. Learn customer service and treat all the same regardless off color. Second the pregnant couple were seated outside, not at a bar( Is your bar on the street?) They were seated outside of the establishment. This shows what type of management you are...

so we had heard about grandma’s recipes in perissa beach being famous for the enormous gyros (30cm XL and i am not joking!) and i only just managed to finish one and they are heavenly! the next night we decided to explore the menu and ordered some burgers, lamb kebab plate and, of course more gyros! everything tasted amazing! and even the beers are cheaper here! we ate there for the rest of our stay and were certainly not disappointed. so, all round, this is an absolute hidden gem. ask for artemis, the owner, friendly and welcoming, even allowed us to order after the kitchen was closing - now that is service ! we will see you...

Came to this place for a late dinner (12:30am) and being told by a rude persona at the front that were only serving take away. So we agreed and proceeded to order asking him for a recommendation, but everything turned into a nightmare when he started being rude by the way of telling us what he would recommend. After that went to get a drink from the fridge and after seeing his reaction and telling me not to leave the door open (while asking my friends what to get) decided to run away from this place. Maybe by the time I arrived was too late, but if you are still open this is not how you should...
