We were seeking out a high quality and authentic Greek meal during our short stay in Athens and boy did Melina's deliver! To start, the views while you eat are breathtaking and the owner's impressive hand-made sculptures are on display. We were told we could make our very own sculptures to take home, so we will certainly do that next time. Our server, Andreas, was top notch. He brought us our food quickly, attended to my dietary preferences, checked up on us regularly, and made every effort to have our dining experience be a pleasant one. The food here was some of the freshest we had in all of Europe and you can tell the chef takes pride in crafting each meal to perfection. The fig salad was incredible and had such a delightful mix of flavors with such clean ingredients. I had the distinct pleasure of trying my first grape leaves here and I absolutely loved them. They were my favorite dish here and filled with such delicious rice and aromatics. I doubt I could find better grape leaves anywhere else! The chicken was so tender and the sun dried tomatoes tasted like they literally came right from a tomato plant and the cheesecake was mouth watering. I still am thinking about how amazing that berry marmalade is! This is a magical place to eat! I was suggested this place from a lady sitting next to me on the flight to Santorini and again by the host of where we were staying, so the place seemed highly esteemed. We decided to go here after visiting the red beach, and what a treat this place was! There is parking just around the corner from the restaurant, and as you walk to the sea and turn right, it’s immediately in sight. The restaurant is located in an amazing place, just be the sea front, with plenty of seats to enjoy the view of the sea. We ordered the octopus, which was my first ever time trying octopus, and it was so delicious to say the least, and specially made through a 2-day sun drying process then grilled, as the waiter kindly informed us. We ordered the grilled egg plant which was amazing. For drinks, we ordered a mojito, which was in a small glass, and a mythos beer. They also run art classes and have an art gallery, where you can buy and observe the art work. The staff were lovely and helpful. 10/10...

We loved this place. Great food, great family, and awesome location. We had only seafood for lunch, and it was amazingly fresh and prepared perfectly. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and location. With the waves washing on the beach, it was hard not to just sit there and drink wine all afternoon. Like most restaurants on the island we never felt rushed to leave, in fact just the opposite. Fish options are whatever they have available for the day, so best not go if planning to have a particular fish. But whatever is available is fresh, tasty and well prepared and if you truly like seafood any fish is good like that. Very close to the ancient buried city excavation which is also a must do...
