This was the most disappointing meal of my trips in Greece. The red house wine was worse than mediocre. The garlic mushrooms were good and my husband’s seafood spaghetti was fine. I ordered grilled octopus, which is ubiquitous in restaurants in Greece and it was terrible! I am not a picky eater but this was inedible. I ate the salads and put it away hoping that someone would come and ask. A waiter just took the plate away without saying anything. At the end of the meal, another waiter asked how was everything and I told him that the octopus was inedible. He asked for details and then said “thank you for the feedback.” In ANY restaurant, such feedback should be followed up by an apology or a show of concern, and maybe a complimentary something, a glass of tea, a piece of fruit, whatever… Nothing! They all pretended like nothing was wrong. We paid for everything, including the octopus and left. What a shame! Our last night in Parga shouldn’t have been so. Yes beautiful view but no,...
Read moreFlisvos is our regular spot in Parga. It has the best view of Valtos and the sea, and is perfect for a spot of dinner or a breakfast before the beach.
You'll find that the food serving is old-fashioned with the plates resembling 20th century style. However, the portions are big and nicely prepared, and the taste is traditionally Greek - we've especially enjoyed the fish for two (grilled prawns, squid, bass and swordfish fillets with a side of fresh salad) as well as many different starters. We've also enjoyed the white wine of the house with our dinner (disclaimer: I'm not a sommelier, and I have a basic taste when it comes to wine).
The breakfast is also nice, with eggs, bacon, bread, butter, honey, strawberry jam, orange juice, and coffee or tea for a price of 8 EUR - great for an early-ish start before the beach!

Read moreThe view is absolutely fantastic but unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives. Like many other reviews mention, we expected more from the food considering the price. We paid nearly €50 for dinner for two.
We ordered grilled octopus (two small tentacles and a small salad) and a sea bream, (around 250g and a bit of green salad). We also didn’t receive a complimentary starter which restaurants usually offers.
The food tasted good, but the portions were far too small. We’re not expecting huge meals (I weigh 50 kg myself, a small person), but serving main courses without any carbs simply isn’t enough. We had to buy gyros afterwards just to be able to sleep without feeling hungry.
To the restaurant: Please serve better-sized portions that actually satisfy your guests — that’s what brings...
