The setting is nice next to the harbor pedestrian zone. This is the only positive thing. We were a group of 3 and in an empty restaurant, they tried to squeeze us at the back. We ended up sitting at another table, but unfortunately no Covid guidelines were followed. One of the waiters (he seemed to be the head waiter) and the so-called reception woman were passing by all the time not fully masked at a distance of 30cm and it was quite disturbing. In general, the food wasn't something special or memorable and the service was not good. As soon as we finished our starters, the waiter came holding our main dishes, expecting us to make room for his serving plates! And adding up to this joke was his request of keeping our knives and forks, in order to eat! My husband's raviolis were row (although he loves aldente pasta) and I couldn't finish my sweet and sour sauce chicken, as it was too sweet. Fortunately for us, there are other restaurants in Parga that respect their customers and serve delicious food with quality ingredients and their smiling staff really...
Read moreJust ok, we appreciate good Italian food so maybe that’s why it didn’t hit the spot. Burrata salad with tomato, rocket and burrata but no oil or seasoning, bone dry, asked for oil and it took 10 mins and a second time of asking to get some. Pizza has far too much cheese on it, the table next to us also said the same, shame because the crust was delicious. Lay off the cheese and these would be the best pizzas in Parga. Lobster ravioli and veal ragu were both lovely. Service was slow, some other tables were given limoncello with the bill, we didn’t and were just left to go settle up with no goodbye or hope you enjoyed your meal, a little odd. Also the most expensive meal we ate and unfortunately not...
Read moreI recently visited Ravioli Cucina Italiana with some friends, eager to experience authentic Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. We ordered two carbonaras and one ravioli Napolitano.
The dishes lacked the true Italian flavor we were hoping for. Both the carbonara and ravioli were overwhelmed with butter, which masked the other ingredients and took away from the authenticity. Additionally, some of the ravioli pieces appeared to have been overcooked and stuck together, with some even burnt.
This restaurant might appeal to those who aren't familiar with genuine Italian pasta, but for anyone seeking a true taste of Italy, I wouldn't...
