To Pontiako — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

2023: When the price of two souvlaki is 9€ ( each one is 4.50 this year!!!), why would anyone eat this instead of something far better? Save your money and get a proper dish of mousakka or anything else which is way healthier and tastier from a traditional Greek restaurant. Souvlaki is no longer a great value at these prices.

2022: Two years later and unfortunately the experience is very bad. From a 5 star review to 2 star. The price per Gyro has skyrocketed to 4€ but the quality hasn't followed suit. The pork was full of fat and badly grilled and the sauce was scarce. This was on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, can no longer recommend it as good value and if you can prefer to eat outside of any place in Parga since almost everything is overpriced

2020: An amazing place with very cheap but delicious and quality food. Ate twice this summer there and it was highly recommended by the locals and now...

Today in Parga / Epirus, across from the island of Corfu, while strolling through the little alleys, I wanted to satisfy my small hunger. Together with my girlfriend, we came across this little corner place not far from the Parga promenade.

Two sympathetic people working there with such dedication gave us the spark to step inside.

As a passionate professional chef, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of this small bistro.

We ordered a gyros pita, and after the very first bite we were absolutely sure: this is the best gyros pita I have eaten in Greece in a long time!

The pita was just right—not overloaded—, the tzatziki mild with garlic and perfectly balanced in seasoning. The meat was not over-spiced, but crispy and juicy.

The team was very friendly and quick.

We will definitely come...

Literally the BEST GREEK SOUVLAKI I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I've never been the person to write reviews online however, it would be a shame not to share this lil greek cuisine gem with everyone!! I just came back from my holiday in Parga and there was not a single day that my friends and i didnt have food at George's Souvlaki. We tried pita club, tzatziki, greek salad, souvlaki of course and burgers and everything was on point!! Everything tasted absolutely amazing. Dont think our taste buds have ever been happier !! From the hospitality of the people working there to the freshly made food there's nothing you wouldnt like!! I honestly cannot recommend it enough!
